God - it's like this roundabout I cant get off. I'm so uncomfortable. My pants are so tight and I'm tired of sweating between my rolls. I just wanna be comfortable in summer dammit!
So.... back to counting POINTS. Again. *groan*
I'm trying to write down my points, but maybe if I blog them...?
So here's the running tally for today:
Breakfast (weetbix + honey) 4
Goulbourne Valley (GV) Fruit Snack 1
Coffee 1
Apple 1
Salad roll + swiss cheese 4
Snack Right biscuit 1.5
Total so far = 11.5 / 18
It's so hard to avoid temptation. I realised last night, that if someone "offers" me food, I say yes. Completely without thought. Like reflex. Why is that?
My psychologist - lets call him Dr Tony - gave me a big sign that says "Psychologist Says NO (thankyou)" to hold infront of my face if anyone asks me to take on something new in the next few months. Isn't that awesome??? Because I have trouble saying 'no' to things, and thus end up totally stressed and over-committed; this gives me an excuse.
Maybe I cant say no to offered food for the same reason???

i'm a knit-wit.

Good gracious - it's been ages since my last post! Apologies! I've been working full time at the local High School and with that and doggy obedience training with Cookie, and riding Will after school, my poor long-suffereing partner R (equally busy) and I are like ships in the night of late. We actually had to make deliberate plans to see each other for dinner last night. We went to Pavillion in Berry, where Ben knows the staff, and often fills in as a waiter and barman if they are desperate. The food there never disappoints - their apple, bread and butter pudding is TO DIE FOR. Let's just say it's made with fresh baked apples and croissant pastry, and served with home made run and raisin ice cream - Heavenly.
I've just finished this book too - The Friday Night Knitting Club. It's a great read. A bit slow in parts, but a wonderful story of the lives of a group of women whose lives are woven together like the fibres of the wool they knit. It's an inspiring story, but a bit sad too. A good, girly, snuggle-up-on-the couch with a blanket across your knees and and good cup of tea book. 4.5 out of 5.

Cookie's List of good places to hide food.

Sometimes, food just tastes better when it's aged a few days. Here are my favourite places to hide my dinner...
1) Mum and Dad's shoes. Although sometimes they find it too soon when they go to put their shoes on and squish their toes into a few tasty cubes of meat.
2) A convenient corner. I hid this pancake near the fan.

3) Under the rocking chair - no one will ever know!

4) In the bean-bag. Just bury it in there with your nose - works just like a hole in the garden!
5) In your bed - then you don't even have to get up out of bed when you feel like a snack!
Follow these handy tips, and yummy, time-improved food will be on-hand whenever you want it! Yum! (Now where did I put that chicken wing...?)
