Cookie's List of good places to hide food.

Sometimes, food just tastes better when it's aged a few days. Here are my favourite places to hide my dinner...

1) Mum and Dad's shoes. Although sometimes they find it too soon when they go to put their shoes on and squish their toes into a few tasty cubes of meat.

2) A convenient corner. I hid this pancake near the fan.

3) Under the rocking chair - no one will ever know!

4) In the bean-bag. Just bury it in there with your nose - works just like a hole in the garden!

5) In your bed - then you don't even have to get up out of bed when you feel like a snack!

Follow these handy tips, and yummy, time-improved food will be on-hand whenever you want it! Yum! (Now where did I put that chicken wing...?)

List #1 - the first of many.

So here it is - my first (and by no means last) blog list! YAY!

Mmmmmm... vertical words *drool*

The first list I have decided to grace the couch with has been inspired by Cookie the puppy, and is my Top-10 puppy toys.

1) the cardboard tube from the middle of toilet paper - free AND environmentally friendly!
2) tennis balls
3) baby teething-rings - hey, baby dogs teethe too!
4) little plastic juice bottles with a few grains of rice/dried peas inside - put the lids back on tightly, and puppies love chasing this noisy, rolling toy around!
5) Chicken Sticks - these look like a big dehydrated cabanossi, and I buy them from Jervis Bay Stock feeds. Dogs LOVE 'em!
6) the middle of a roll of sticky tape
7) plastic peanut butter jars - when you've finished the peanut butter, but before you wash it out. Hours of fun!
8) apples - it's like a ball, but it's tasty!
9) chicken necks - yummy, AND clean your puppy's teeth! No more puppy meat-breath!
10) Ice cubes - big ones. For outside on a hot day. Or put some dog bikkies/bits of cabanossi in a tub of water and watch your puppy go 'snorkelling' for treats! Makes water (and baths) a fun experience.

So, there's my top-10. Have you got any to add to that?

My favourite toys - by Cookie

Here are some of my favourite chew toys. They keep me happy for hours....

1) a little plastic bottle with peanut butter smeared in it. This keeps me happy for hours trying to get my tongue in there and get that yummy stuff out!

2) then there's my squishy Pumbaa (from The Lion King) which I like to carry round by the tail...

3) Finally I love the middle of toilet rolls, sticky tape, or foil wrap...

...oh yes. HOURS of fun to be had here!

Now to introduce the kids...

I thought it was about time I posted pics of my animals - Since I yabber on about them so much! Here is the latest addition to our family - Cookie. She is 10 weeks old, and I have NO IDEA what breed she is (any ideas?). I think maybe staffy x some sort of terrier?

Finally - this is the much-loved and very spoiled Will.
