Between us...
Here's my next novel - I'm only halfway through chapter 1 though because I'm in a play at the moment. Did I mention that before? I'm in an ameteur theatre group and at the moment I'm playing 'Debbie' in "It's My Party and I'll Die if I Want To" by Elizabeth Coleman. It's a funny, funny play - we've had lots of fun performing it!
It's funny the feeling you get when a play ends; it's relief mixed with grief mixed with pride. The good thing about my group is that (as cliched as this will sound) we're a family. It's actually quite a big group, but everyone knows everyone. The theatre is so much my home, I love being there and hanging out in the greenroom with everyone.
So I'm tired this morning from all the late nights, but the curtain call tonight will make it all worth it.... :)
