i'm a knit-wit.

Good gracious - it's been ages since my last post! Apologies! I've been working full time at the local High School and with that and doggy obedience training with Cookie, and riding Will after school, my poor long-suffereing partner R (equally busy) and I are like ships in the night of late. We actually had to make deliberate plans to see each other for dinner last night. We went to Pavillion in Berry, where Ben knows the staff, and often fills in as a waiter and barman if they are desperate. The food there never disappoints - their apple, bread and butter pudding is TO DIE FOR. Let's just say it's made with fresh baked apples and croissant pastry, and served with home made run and raisin ice cream - Heavenly.

I've just finished this book too - The Friday Night Knitting Club. It's a great read. A bit slow in parts, but a wonderful story of the lives of a group of women whose lives are woven together like the fibres of the wool they knit. It's an inspiring story, but a bit sad too. A good, girly, snuggle-up-on-the couch with a blanket across your knees and and good cup of tea book. 4.5 out of 5.

Hope things start slowing down for you a bit. Thankfully things are starting to do so around here. Once the beginning of September rolls around life starts getting back to "normal"...whatever THAT is...LOL!
